About Donelle:
A native of the Pacific Northwest, Donelle Knudsen was born in Portland, Oregon, and has lived in Washington State since 1988. She has written short stories, poetry, memoirs, and novels. She earned a B.S. in Arts & Letters from Portland State University, and is a four-time finalist and two-time award winner in the Pacific Northwest Writers Association's and Oregon Writers Colony's literary contests. She owes her love of books and the craft of writing to her late father who was never too busy to tell and read her stories, or to take her to the library every Saturday. Donelle is a wife, mother, and grandmother of six.
